This policy covers inquiries and messaging handled by Balance and Life Mission, Inc. (BALM) through balmlife.org. It explains how we use the information you provide and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
The BALM chat widget receives your name, phone number, message, and the messaging permissions you select. GrowthHub365’s LeadConnector service processes these submissions for BALM. Messaging records may include delivery information, replies, consent choices, and opt-out requests.
The separate website inquiry form prepares an email draft or copies your message in your browser. It does not submit the form to a website server. When you send that email, BALM receives its contents and your email address through your email provider.
How we use information
We use inquiry details to respond, arrange conversations, and provide the program or partnership information you request. If you choose to receive SMS messages, we use your phone number and permissions for the categories you select. Informational messages may include inquiry follow-ups and program or event reminders. Promotional messages may include invitations and announcements about BALM’s programs and events.
Your mobile information and consent
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile contact information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS subscription details and consent records are not transferred to others for their own messaging campaigns.
Service providers may process information on BALM’s behalf to operate the widget, deliver messages, support inquiries, and maintain consent and opt-out records. This processing does not authorize those providers to market to you independently. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
Your choices
The widget’s informational and promotional consent boxes are separate and optional. Sending an inquiry does not itself enroll you in ongoing promotional texts. You may stop SMS messages by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance or call 240-266-5240. See our SMS Terms for messaging details.
Technical information and records
Hosting and messaging providers may process IP addresses, browser information, cookies, or browser storage to operate and secure their services. BALM keeps inquiry and messaging records as needed to handle requests, manage permissions, honor opt-outs, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. No online service can guarantee complete security.
